Hinata's Hamura Chakra

I didn't watch the Last because well.. I hate Naruto Movies but there are 2 Groups of people saying something different on the outcome with Hinata's meeting with Hamura.

Group 1- After talking to Hamura she required his Chakra in order to destroy the Tenseigan Altar

Group 2- After talking to Hamura Hinata finds out that she always possesed Hamura's Chakra, since she is Main Hyuuga.

The reason why I ask is because if Option 2 is true than Hinata's so called "power up" isn't a power up since she possesed the chakra from the start. But either way Option 1 seems more logical because I can't see someone losing to other Hyuuga if the person is in possesion of Chakra this powerful, but then again like Ashura's Chakra her Hamura Chakra may just had too bloom or something?

I would had automatically turned the thread off because there are too many out there who criticize The Last yet never watched it to give it a proper input in it's narrative and directive, but I will answer your question regardless.

Hamura transferred his chakra to her, similar as to how Hagoromo did with Naruto and Sasuke, afterwards she started emanating purple chakra with a vast improvement over all her abilities including Gentle Fist, whereas her previous color was blue.

Though she already inherited his chakra through being his descendant, if anything he just provided what there is to remain along with unlocking her full potential.

It was option 1. The change in colour is evidence enough, as it changed from blue to purple. Not to mention she herself says she has his chakra near the end of the film, and she even demonstrated new abilities with that chakra.

I thought her eyes transformed because many byakugans were sacrificed before and it needs the Byakugan of a main Hyuuga to finish the process of the Tenseigan Altar, because from what you are trying to tell me I guess every main hyuuga has Hamura's chakra :|

No, she didn't . Anything remotely similar to such a statment was never once said anywhere in the movie.

No the collective byakugans was a bomb, or gave him a chakra mode....something like that. The whole thing was stupid. Hinata use Gentle fist to disconnect them.
toneri was immune from Naruto's power, so Hinata used her power to help naruto form a rasengan.


If it was a SasuSaku move, Sasuke wouldve simply teleported Sakura in front of Toneri and she wouldve killed him.

Tenseigan is awakened by having byakugan and ootsutsuki chakra.

That's the problem with believing option 2, it makes no sense. If we are to believe that Hinata always had hamura's Chakra, then that would mean all the other hyuga's have hamura's chakra, which is ridiculous and far from the case. In NV, one doesn't just inherit their ancestor's chakra unless they are a transmigration like naruto, who inherited ashura's chakra. And Hinata can't be hamura's transmigrant as she met him face to face.
