Lots of people say live action never works and will always look bad. Now I understand that because of ATLA, dragon Ball Evolution and such but look at comic book live action movies. As long as you have someone who cares about the film it can be amazing.

I guess some genres can work, in theory, but not Shounen. Shounen aesthetics and spirit don't translate well to live action. Characters would look like cosplayers who overreact to everything.

Sorry, maybe I should have made it more clear that it is my own opinion, and that my taste doesn't rely on quotes and how popular a movie is. I just can't stand live action at all.
