Why am I banned from the discussion thread of POTM section, and can I know for how long it stays?
All of that because I disagreed with some points and made a thread in the right section about it? :Rucken:

I did and I got banned without an explanation. And posting in this section really has no purpose, except for they all gang up on you.

Firstly you don't need to make this thread here. If you have a question for the mods, place it in the private section, or if you feel you have been misstreated, go to Zise, and explain why you feel that way.

You shouldn't get the idea in your head that mods are here to blackmail you. They are not threatening you ban you, they are telling you they are the concequences of your actions. If you get caught being abusing by the police, they will tell you to calm down or be arrested, same principle, they are warning you what your actions will lead to.

What you don't realise is how busy the mods always are trying to keep NB running. Checking every single report from every member trying to fix all bugs and enforce the NB rules. The rules are in place to ensure that everyone feels welcome and to keep order on the forums.

If you made a thread in the wrong section it will be closed or deleted. If you are banned from the discussion its because you've shown the mods that you can't just have a discussion and its causing more trouble than its worth. Like in a court room, if you keep shouting out a judge will warn you then have you leave the room as you are just being disruptive.

All the mods do, is to keep order, peace and ensure everyone can have fun. What do they get in return? People accusing them of being out to get them or blackmailing them. Do they make threads complaining? No, they continue with their job to ensure you have a place to enjoy yourself.

So your post brings some hypocrites in here who repeatedly refuse to follow simple rules. e.g. :

- post spoiler in wrong way,

- or repeatedly( duplicates for the same) or

- not keeping it in the designated sticky , but making three more within minutes of each other

- refuse to listen and keep acting like no one ever told them nor they can read the simple announcement for global forum rules.

- act as if they are special and ruled should not apply to them. Must be that from-the-moon complex.

- claim they are doing the translation when it turns out they simply copy pasted stuff from some place else and

- throw anther rage fit when another member points this out, ( somehow this too is a mod's fault)

- flame if the mods remove or infract their precious thread ( doesn't matter that another member had already posted the same stuff)

- post threads/messages with half truths and playing the victim repeatedly

- then flame the site-and-mods claiming they are leaving( but never do as it was just a ploy to register their rage and make it look like how severe a blow the said mod had dealt the site by making such an honourable member leave )......No this is not hypocricy either

- all though this have their small set of friends to scratch their back without telling them to do things right way.


I am personally sick of the members who most of the time do not even know who handled their threads or infractions but pick one to target and flame. People who are responsible for most of the troll posts, baits, insults, and fanboying are often the ones screaming on top of their lungs that 'NB has too many trolls', 'ND is a shithole' and the same are the ones flaming staff if they take action. But of course, the hypocrite must be someone else.

... well I guess that was enough of honest but blunt words some of them can handle..


You should know that when you make threads like this you are causing more problems for those staff members too, who may have nothing to do with your issues with some other staff members. In the end the actual issues get sidetracked and results in more rigid stands by everyone involved.


I will leave this for the host of the contest or an admin to answer your original topic.

If you go back to your thread titled "I'm pretty much done with this place" (the contents of which i won't reveal) You'll probably see why.

Not too long ago I actually questioned your thread ban - if you had dropped me a PM it would've been gone but the fact you've called the whole staff out in public over something only a staff member can answer was not nice (and as you can see has attracted spam and troll posts).

So I thought I'll make the issue more Transparent and attract some attention to this issue.

Yes you sent me a PM - asking me to remove your entry from SotW saying you don't want to participate anymore. I asked you the reason and learned about the ban from the other contest. I also discussed it with Lawliet and let her know but you never made a formal complaint against so it remained limited to that.

I do think the ban was a little harsh since your thread was in the right section. But you too gave a knee jerk reaction instead of questioning the ban when it was put the first time around. In absence of formal complaint and your own words to Zise there wasn't much to go on with.

All you needed to do was to send a more direct PM to me or Lawliet or Zise and ask for a review. Hosts are usually given a free hand and even if I disagree with some actions, sometimes I need more than just knowledge of an incident to peruse the case.

I seriously wonder what your issue is. Trolls always abuse any kind of situation just to throw a tantrum, but you're not a troll. However at this point you are doing nothing more than throwing out your own personal grudges trying mask them like it's somehow everyone's issue.

You made a thread in the Private Questions section regarding the winners of an edition of the Profile Contest you participated in where you did not agree with who won. You had in total three staff members who replied in that thread. Three. One of them the organizer of the contest who explained why exactly he choose those winners, a 2nd who simply gave his opinion about your profile (which wasn't even a bad opinion) and a third, an admin, who explained that that contest by its very essence is quite subjective.

How did you react? You said you would reduce your activity. You said you were done with NB and the contests in particular and that you even removed your latest submissions from two of them.

I don't know all the details as I wasn't involved in all of this, however but based on everything I read, I assume a mod banned you from that thread because you made a comment in there, just after you proclaimed that you were done with NB, that could easily led to a repetition of the argument you had in the Private section. Considering you were throwing a fit there, I assume a mod banned you out of precaution to avoid your throwing the same fit in public.

In normal circumstances it's already tricky to keep track of thread bans as they are not time based, we have to undo them manually. But in your case you got banned from a thread in a section you said you quit of a forum you said you were done with and then, as far as I know, for two months you didn't show the slightest hint that you wanted to be unbanned from it. Then you suddenly decide to make a thread of which you know it's against the rules using an irrelevant quote from another thread as an excuse to complain about your own personal issues.

If you wanted to get unbanned, you could have just sent a PM to several staff members after a week or so or even after a few days as I'm pretty sure most of them would have interpreted your behavior as you simply being mad about not having won the contest and that now, after a few days, you would have cooled off and thus you could be unbanned. After all you did not receive a forum ban, a section ban, an infraction nor a warning as far as I know. But you didn't do that.

You could have bumped your original thread in the Private section to ask when your ban would be lifted, someone would surely have replied or at least have read the message. You didn't.

What did you do? Apparently nothing till you decided to make this thread, complaining about how you have not yet been unbanned from a thread in a section you proclaimed into the face of several mods you quit on a forum you were done with. I mean what? How can you be that unreasonable? You are even lying as because three mods did not agree specifically with your opinion on who should have won the profile contest, the entire staff supposedly ganged up on you despite the fact that 90% didn't even had any knowledge of this issue.

And all of this for what? Because you did not get the 3rd place or something in the profile contest? This is plainly ridiculous, you seem to be abusing this situation as a means to vent out all your pent up anger that came from God knows where making it appear like it's everyone's issue.

You're not a troll, so I will let this thread slide. If you have an issue, use the Private Questions section or contact the mods via PM, but next time you do this, I will not it go.
