I don't know that myself honestly. I haven't been able to watch other series, let alone keep track of this one.

Season 2? No news on it yet, but if they were to make another season, I think the earliest would be sometime in 2016. Light novel adaptations have a tendency to have their seasons at least 2 years apart.

Where to continue the story? Read the light novels. They were originally on baka tsuki, but the series was licensed by Yen Press(they will begin publishing the novels in america), so the fan translation were taken down. However fans are still translating the series and posting the pdf downloads on other sites, here is a link to one of them
