From movie summary. Sasuke uses his Rinnegan to open a portal to other dimension. Boruto, Sasuke and the Kages enter the portal, two extremely speedy ninjas also jump into the portal.

Similar to what Obito did in Kaguya dimension I think

Kaguya's S/t has two feats, travel through dimensions and shift them.

Sasuke's S/t is a combination of both, he doesn't rely on opening a dimensional gate like Kamui, instead he shifts the space in the other dimension with the one he resides in.

Shin's hideout is on earth. No way sasuke could teleport 5 people in and out in an hour when his eye was on cooldown for like a week beforehand.

We don't know how many times he traveled for his eye to be on cooldown, for all we know he could've travelled to all 6 dimensions before returning to Earth and he clearly implied that he teleported dimensions because he was searching for Kaguya's traces which aren't on Earth.

He was NEVER shown opening a portal but he WAS shown switching the space between him and the dimension Sakura was in. So it's likely he SHIFTS the space between dimensions rather than open a gate.

As I said, Sasuke can not use the dimensions in battle as Kaguya
