Seriously? That was unexpected, I thought that people would find odd to watch a movie which is based mainly on the kids. On the other hand, I'm really curious to see Naruto as hokage and as father.

As a Sakura fan it pains me to say this but you are indeed correct. Given the overall tone of the story and the content dealt with, having Sakura there would just hinder the new gen progress and the dynamic between Naruto and Sasuke....Plus I didn't want to see her trolled in the movie like what happened to her through the whole series. SMH.

So yes leaving her out of the fighting was a sound choice.
