I thought byakugan was something you were born with

From my understanding the byakugan is something you are born with.....that's why the clan focuses on keeping the branches balanced so much....they don't want the byakugan to go extinct...


So why does hamawari a girl who never had byakugan suddenly awakens it?????



I thought SHARINGAN was the only one that needed awakening.......

I just saw the thread, maybe it never occurred to you but what if, hear me out now, what if in the case of hybrids their eye color could be whatever, but they can still activate the Byakugan

I just realized, what if, in the case of hybrids, there is just a chance for one of the children to be born with Byakugan

Ah the salt. The simple fact is, there were no statements. The idea that it can't be awakened probably came from the fact that the hyuga's all were born with pale eyes. However, there was no statement that it couldn't be awakened. It all comes down to an implication, not a rule. Kishi didn't break a rule, though this will obviously shake up those that were convinced that you needed pale eyes for the byakugan.

She was probably born with it. She could of had blue eyes because of the gene mix, and her eyes may have just begin to manifest itself. A child with Hyuuga and Uzumaki blood has never been born before until now so it could be that as the male naruto's uzumaki genes are dominant, thus hiding the hyuuga genes until now. Its all in genetics lol.

But we can always see what Kishimoto has to say LOL.

I get it but the fact that kishimoto says you have to be born with byakugan and how the job of the branch family was to protect the main family so the byakugan DOSENT go exinct is a lil stupid


If there was such a thing as half breeds then there would be no reason to trap the branch family with the caged bird sealing jutsu...

I guess I'll accept it...but it sure does feel like asspull

Review the neji arc in Naruto the first series....it's stated that the byakugan is a delicate power that needs maintaining.......the branch families job was to make sure the byakugan never goes extinct.....that's the main reason the caged bird jutsu was created so the main family could constinly control the branch from going roge

If there were such things as half breeds then there would be no reason to have a branch family to protect the head......because the byakugan would become just like the SHARINGAN.....
