His glows come back most likely because he's just using Kurama characteristics with his Six Paths Senjutsu. Same for the eyes.
It doesn't need to be mentioned, Naruto's shown the ability to use an individual beasts chakra with his RSM like when he only used the 4 tails chakra to create the LRS in his normal RSM.
In the Gaiden he was directly shown to be talking with Kurama and ONLY Kurama, just like with that case. Which means he's using only Kurama's chakra for the transformation.
