Who would be the weakest Akatsuki member?

Can't deny facts. It was only because of Chiyo pulling the strings did Sakura punch Sasori and survive. Credit goes to Chiyo that whole fight.

Sasori is supposed to be in the upper echelon of akatsuki.

Deidara clearly admitted inferiority. Sorta like with Kisame and Itachi, where Kisame knew his place.

Pain > Itachi > Sasori >= Kakuzu >= Kisame > Deidara > Hidan > Konan> Zetsu

The bolded are fairly close, and can be rearranged.

Reason I put Hidan over Konan is because without prep time she doesn't have much to offer. Hidan is ideal for Bijuu hunting, Konan seems more like she was there just cause of Nagato, while Hidan was actually recruited for a purpose. Would the akatsuki go out of their way to recruit Konan if she wasn't linked to Nagato? I doubt it.

It's zetsu, hidan Is the most strongest member if opponent is unable to figure out his abilities. Deidara is also a most weakest member, he didn't won any of his battles besides his entrance one.

Wait, what? Deidara was no where near to be the weakest. He was tiers above Hidan. He had powerful long range attacks, not to mention about his aerial advantage and high intelligence. If it wasnt for Kakashis Kamui, he would outsmart and kill two Konoha squads by himself. He was a solid Kage level.

Hidan is definietly the weakest one. Im not saying hes weak overall, that just shows how strong Akatsuki was.

Hidan could have killed Deidara while Deidara couldn't kill Hidan. Now that doesn't technically make Hidan stronger I guess as I agree Deidara had better moves but it makes him a more difficult opponent. People would beat Deidara more often than they would beat Hidan thanks to his immortality.

After his head was decapitated, his entire body was rendered useless. It's actually quite easy to immobilize him.

His body parts can still be severed. He isn't impervious to damage so he can be blown up with a strong enough force as well.

1 Jonin and 3 Chunin bested him in mere seconds. If Kakazu wasn't there they would have lopped off his head immediately after they found out he was immortal. Even without that he was actually defeated by them afterwards.

You're giving far too much credit to his immortality when that could be dealt with easily.

I didn't remember the body going limp after decapitation factor. Even still the immortality would give him the edge in a lot of fights as his opponents think they get a finishing blow only to find they're being stabbed in the back.

My point was more enemies would land what they think a killing blow to Hidan only to have him get up and kill them than would kill or stop him. While Deidara on the other hand would have to fight the entire time until he defeated his opponent. Hidan can use deception a lot easier to win battles especially with his curse jutsu, he charges the enemy they stab him he falls dead, they let their guard down and slash he's got there blood time for the curse. So how pray tell would Deidara be harder to defeat than someone you don't know can't die?
