Yeah. Some Kage death in the war would of had some impact. I'm honestly still baffled as to how Onoki a man with back problems at old age survived a meteor falling on him, getting his ass kicked by Madara to the point of unconsciousness, then living all the way to chapter 700. The dude saw Madara when he was a hidden leaf ninja and yet he is still alive.
