Anyway in medical skills Sakura definitely excelled (hence me including the fact that Sakura was Tsunade's student)

Yet as a genin there is no proof for me to even consider Hinata to be an elite genin.

As for the Last, didn't watch it.

I consider it as a movie designed to trick ppl into believe that Hinata has been relevant to this series while from what I heard she mostly just plays the damsel in distress and to all give a reason behind NH.

I honestly don't think Kishimoto cared about her level of intelligence and just wanted some NH interaction. If he wanted to make note of Hinata's intelligence he would have.

Hinata wasn't shown to have cheated, but also wasnt shown to struggle with the questions, or shown to have the intelligence where taking the test was easy.

Kishimoto didn't care to elaborate so I can only assume that the how wasn't important and her answering the questions was just set up.

Well crap, with that negative mentality, you wouldn't be able to enjoy anything. Hinata was used as a damsel in distress for some of the movie, although she was key in stopping Toneri's plan. If nothing else, the film kind of laughs in the face of people that have said that Naruto's the only thing Hinata cares about. In it, in order to infiltrate Toneri's base, she pretends to reject Naruto and to love Toneri in order to gain intel to save Hanabi and the world, as well as fulfill Haruma's wishes.

BTW I can't deny that I am negative, but Hinata and NH has never been something that interests me to say the least.

Also I didn't watch the other Naruto movies either so it wasn't a big thing for me to stay away from the Last. I have heard that most Naruto movies are usually bad

When was itachi ever consistently voted high in the popularity polls? Given the amount of males who took the spots Kakashi would take the role of the hero. Hinata and Sakura were the only females in the top 10.

Don't get me wrong. Both are badly developed. But I think we're both thinking heroine as in a literary sense. Both girls are technically heroine as of now due to them having a hand in defeating Kaguya or Toneri.

She got more importance as Naruto because Naruto finally focused on her. Through out the series who ever he focused on they got more importance than anyone. Just see it as another arc.

Seeing it is better than reading it. That is why you read a manga with pictures and words.

After watching this movie I can safely say that the wordings people used to tell about this movie was overexagerated. The movie did not seem as misplaced as the spoilers were saying it was. Also the majority of the hate was because of lack of Sasuke. If you only read this series just for Sasuke and not other characters like Sai, Ino, Sakura, and Shikamaru you are better off skipping the whole manga and reading manga panels of just him. Because some of these characters played a part to in this movie. Hell even Kakashi got loads of respect by having a good intuation.

Also I didn't watch the other Naruto movies either so it wasn't a big thing for me to stay away from the Last. I have heard that most Naruto movies are usually bad

The other movies were not canon so it didn't matter. You are skipping a canon movie just because you don't find interest in Naruto and Hinata. I could personally care less your loss.

I already did and I can easily tell you that the only thing that is holding you back is yourself. And your opinion about the movie has no effect on what was presented. Even though I am a NaruHina fan I watched it as a neutral. I was waiting for things to get bad or feel awkward. But none of that happen. Everything went smoothly.

I am not saying you need to watch the movie. But if it really does not interest you than there is no need for you to give your opinions on it.
