Agreed. Itachi would have been a great Uchiha Hokage. Even Hiruzen compliments him who was said to be the strongest in his prime.

He had the brains of an Hokage at a very young age, plus the way he handled the Uchiha Massacre was inevitable but he proceeded smartly, played the Akatuski in his hands. Hokage intelligence confirmed. He would have been an excellent Hokage.

The problem I have with Itachi as Hokage, is that he aligns with Danzo on too many issues. That and Danzo would probably influence his control on Itachi, the same way he influenced control over Hiruzen.

how so? itachi only followed danzo orders in order to keep sasuke alive and too make danzo think he was under his control

Hiruzen didn't want the Uchiha killed, even so, he did nothing to punish Danzo for working behind his back.

Danzo said even the Uchiha children who knew nothing had to die, and we know Itachi and Obito left no survivors except Sasuke.

Danzo gave the order and Itachi swung the sword.


All because he (Itachi) believed he was doing the right thing and he believed in the village. Danzo said shinobi are tools, and Danzo and Obito certainly used Itachi to further their own ends. Just look at what both did with the dead Uchiha's sharingans for proof.

Not really, Itachi's actions weren't that of a Hokage who is suppose to be responsible for the whole village. Itachi told Sasuke himself that maybe if he had been upfront about things with Sasuke then both of them could have changed their father's mind. Itachi could have went to Hiruzen about Danzo's threat and ask that Danzo be removed as one of the Hokage's advisors and have all power taken because he isn't the kind of person the village needs.

Itachi drove Sasuke onto a path of hatred which caused him to become a rogue ninja, join a criminal, join a criminal organization which made him an international criminal, and had Sasuke try to become a dictator of the whole ninja world. Itachi would be a great Hokage advisor but not Hokage. Itachi does not want anyone to know the truth because it would ruin the Uchiha clan honor which is him putting his Clan before himself but also before his village since if he could be a great asset to Konoha then him keeping the secret is preventing him from helping as much as he could.

Sure the Uchiha clan will take a hit for trying to do the coup but Itachi and Sasuke could have rebuilt the Uchiha clan into a clan they can be proud of; Sasuke wanted to rebuild the clan since part 1. Hashirama's dream was for the boarders between the clans to be teared down so all villagers would see each other as family. Itachi would be more worthy of Hokage if he put Konoha over his clan since the whole village would be his family.

He knew what he was doing was wrong, however this wrong was less destructive and devastating for the whole world than if he would just do nothing and let the whole village and then the world fall into CHAOS.


Btw, I find it interesting how Madara praised Itachi even tough:
1. He has never met/fought him
2. He doesn't even know HOW Itachi ended the Edo Tensei. This by using Izanami, a secret kinjutsu probably only known by Madara at this point in time, if even Madara knew it.

After the massacre he made it pretty clear to Danzou that he would make his life a living hell if he went for Sasuke or the village after the deed was done. So his co-op with Danzou was only for the mission that's all. He hated Danzou from what he did to his rival Shisui an if he had more time...Danzou would be dead by his hands an not Sasuke's.

Did the world fall into chaos or was their an invasion by other nations after the Kyubi attack on the Leaf?

The answer to all these, in no.

Wasn't Izanami created by the Uchiha clan to punish Uchiha who abused Izanagi? The secrets of the Uchiha sharingan jutsus are not secret to the Uchiha themselves. Sasuke didn't know much about them because he was never taught.

Fact Itachi said to Naruto and Bee that He made too many Mistake like with Sasuke because He tried to do it all by Himself,He did not want Naruto to make that mistake too. As Hokage Itachi to be great Hokage would have to let people help Him and not be the Itachi of old that failed to set Sasuke on the right path.
