Yes, it's clear why she came to like Naruto but it doesn't imply her feelings happened all at once. The Last scene shows how Hinata came to admire Naruto not how she came to like him. It's pretty clear through out the manga that Hinata's feelings up until she was around 11 or 12 can't be exact that's when her crush became to develop then around part 2 can't be exact either she began to love him. I know you didn't but there actually was a change to her feelings which is why I like NH. It wasn't some idolization where she thinks he is perfect, she didn't like in a romantic way right off the the bat nor did she fall in love quickly.

Hinata's feelings naturally got deeper over time as one's feelings does but in comparison to Sakura's, Hinata's feelings of love were clear from the beginning. I believe that's how Hinata is. She just loves very deeply and I didn't see any signs that her love was ever just a shallow crush. So yeah I would argue she fell in love since that event.

I could careless what people think of SS, and I don't feel the need to translate comments about a statement that was indeed a joke*hence why he laughs in the same breath he used to make the statement*, and in the other guys case, deceive people into believing the minority comments make for the majority, because they're upset about a fictional ink couple being together....

That even is crucial to NH but that isn't the moment she fell in love though. It has to be between the 2 year time skip other ways it doesn't make sense because the only thing clear up until (Genin days) was that Hinata really admired Naruto and thought of him as her motivation which it wasn't inspired by love at all till Part 2.

Well admiring someone and being motivated by someone are all factors of her love. Her entire behavior in the genin days screamed of someone in love but she was too insecure and shy to do anything about it. When she confessed her love to Naruto, it was clear to me that she had felt that way for a long time but had never been able to say it.

I recently read in interview by kishimoto were he stated that he never gave a reason why sakura loves SASUKE becuase he couldn't think of one........him saying this to me just proves how unrealistic/ forced they were.....

If even the creator DOSENT know why she loves him.....this just shows how dump it is

In a way, I admire the fact that Kishi declined to give a reason. The relationship has a LOT of land mines that could blow up if touched upon.

If the relationship didn't have a canon history of rejection and violence, it would have had its own movie, too, by now.

Some things are best left to the readers' imagination, and tbh I think all of the pairings should have been left that way.
