Was gonna say they might not judge truly but, they can stop being your friend. I wouldn't even come close to risking my friends knowing, I've seen another in my circle of friends get roasted for watching FMA brotherhood, he for sure didn't come around as much by his choice and the rest of said circle of friends

Well I have a friend circle that accepts all types of ideas from sports to anime I guess.I Don't really get how they will stop being your friend? Unless you are referring to the fact that Anime = for nerds. This is not necessarily true at all but if people are so insecure about not losing their friends then don't mention you watch anime at all. Still this is a pathetic excuse to stop being your friend? That's what it's all about.

I can't understand why people would be so insecure about it. Liking anime is the same thing as liking sports, or television or any other thing... you can either keep it under control as a healthy hobby or become obsessed with it and turn into one of those people who does nothing but fuss about it all day.

I think the only people who get picked on for liking anime and manga are the people who like nothing else but anime and manga. Those are the social outcasts. Gotta have more skills and knowledge on the media and entertainment industry than that to avoid a scene make it.

Sure it's more acceptable to like sports than anime in America but hey. Idc mayne, I like what I like. And you right, that is what it's all about.
