There is a big difference in writers too.

Oda cares about every character.All SH members are developed greatly.Even the side characters.Kishi left out K11 and only focused on NaruSasu.

Oda is way above Kishi.Way above.Im not saying Naruto is bad.I love Naruto and will always love it but let's be real.Oda is waaaaaay better writer and has much much more to do with OP.

All I can think of is Gaara but he also cried for Sasuke at the Kage Summit and they do have alot in common which led to a completely different life for him.

Nagato for like 5 mins before he died.

Sakura but she wanked everyone because she knew she was fodder.

Everyone acknowledges him when he saves their asses but that's normal. It is pretty cheesey though, trying to shove emotional shit down your throat all the time.

Many people, including myself have used that excuse about One Piece having terrible art and being too long, but once we got into it, we knew that it was a good story. The only ones who have the right to call it shit are the ones who have read enough of it to say that they don't want to deal with it anymore.
