[Discussion] Kaido and Kid vs Shanks and Luffy won't happen

Personally I don't think this will happen anytime soon.
Shanks and Dragon are very special characters because as soon as Oda wants to hit the readers with something great he pulls them out.

Luffy meeting Shanks has been built up since chapter one and this is not the time or the moment It will happen. It's been said that OP is around 70% done so it makes no sense to make them meet now, they will probably meet in the Final war.



Last of all Kaido has no reason to team up with Kid alliance, the level Shanks and Kaido are on is way above Kid's alliances so they wouldn't really make that big of a difference if Kaido and Shanks fought.


I can see Kid alliance and Straw hats teaming up to beat Kaido tho.

It's not going to happen, because the next time Luffy and Shanks see each other they will be fighting against each other, not with each other.

70% done where you get that from One Piece has much more that it would take another 10+ too truly explain alot
At this point you can't guess One Piece anymore like Kaidou hopping out the horizon he won't show us a panel of him fighting too early for any SuperNova unless its all 12 of them against one because Luffy and Law had trouble against DD

They would make a difference though. If you have two big teams go at it for hours wearing each other down bit by bit, when the final hour comes and you have 3 whole fresh crews even if their below the peak of their enemy at this point they'll all be weakened and the new comers can give Kaidou's side the edge it needs to win. The only ways they would be a non-factor is if Shanks also had some younger crews helping out or Shanks is that far above Kaidou.
