Gaara needs chakra infused in his sand in order to control it.= Fact?
Contrary to popular belief this isn't fact. No where in the manga is this stated. Most people assume it is fact because it seems logical to them. I believe he doesn't need to infuse sand in his chakra into sand in order to use. I have detailed theories why, but that isn't what I'm here to show you. I have concrete proof AKA Manga facts to show that chakra infused sand is not required.
First I would like to point out that it isn't so insane that he can control sand without infusing chakra in the sand. Their are other jutsu and power to compare it to.
1. Magnet release. This one is obvious as shukaku himself has magnet release. The third Kazekage who copied his use of sand control of shukaku's jinchuriki's by using magnet release. When using magnet release he doesn't infuse chakra in his iron sand. He converted his chakra into magnetism. it is debatable if that magnetism is pure magnetism or is still chakra and can be converted back into chakra and/or absorbed.
2. Natural energy. Natural energy isn't the same as senjutsu chakra. One is Natural energy converted into chakra, the other is simply natural energy. Sage art: Inorganic Reincarnation and it's Toad counterpart Frog Kata both utilize Natura energy. Because it uses natural energy and not senjutsu chakra it cannot be detected by dojutsu or absorb
3. Deva Path. One can manipulate gravitational force with the rinnegan. Push or pull. The way I see it is Gaara is doing something similar to sand exclusively and on a greater scale going beyond just push and pull. Think about it when the deva path manipulates a body, are we to assume the rinnegan user is inserting his chakra into the victim? Of course not, so I don't really see what is so hard to comprehend when it comes to Gaara.
Rhetorical question: Do you think preta path can absorb shinra tensei or bansho tenin?
All of this is just comfort food, the real meal is ahead.
Now for proof that the sand manipulation does not require chakra infusion.
When I say "Gaara sand can pass preta path's barrier"
Common response is "Gaara needs chakra infused in his sand in order control it, preta path renders the sand useless"
Me: "well do you have proof of this statement"
Commoner:"No I don't need it, it is the only logical conclusion"
Maybe it isn't as mature a conversation as that but that is the typical convo.
See what we have here is someone claiming to be right based off assumption. At this point in are conversation neither of us is right, we both have made claims and commoner has admitted that their claim is an assumption. Now I might sound crazy, but if one person has an assumption and the other has concrete proof then the one with the concrete proof is correct right? Or at least has the most credibility.
What proves who is right, is the battle between the 5 kage and Madara.
What leads me to being right is the fact that Gaara's can still Manipulate sand despite it being in rang of Madara's preta path's aborbtion.
Let's break it down.
First the scans.
Now it is apparent that Madara can't use Preta path and Susanoo at the same time even if it his clones using Susanoo and not him or else he would not have been hit by Onoki's jinton.
Then the lightning water dragon comes his way and before the water dragon hits he uses preta path. It is important to note that he used preta path before the water dragon hit. This shows that Madara did not get paralyzed by the ration at all.
Although he doesn't say it Kishi leaves it for use to infer it. Cause you know, the author doesn't spoon feed every detail to the audience.
3 reason I know he used Preta path
1. He says "I thought I told you that only physical attacks work on me" This clearly implies he is using Preta path this is similar to what he addressed last time he use Preta path.
2. Madara was in the same stance as when he uses Preta path and it was making the same sound effects. Go check the last time Madara used preta path it is the same stance, and check the last time Nagato or Madara used Preta path it is the same sound effect.
3. When the water dragon hits him it doesn't him him the way it always does. Water dragon causes blunt damage but when it hit madara it look like it was entering his body.
Then Gaara's sand wraps around Madara despite him having Preta path up and is getting ready to seal him.
Mei then says, "if he wants to get rid of the sand, then he needs to stop his jutsu"
First thing that must be cleared up is, "his jutsu" is referring to Preta path as Madara has no other jutsu activated. SO this clearly implies Preta path has no affect on Gaara's sand
She then says Of course.. "If he does the electric water bullets will parallelize him.<3"
Her saying that proves what I previously have said.
If he deactivates preta path then the ongoing electric water will paralyze him.
As you can see it was all a part of their plan to have Madara use Preta path, because they were then going to use sand(because it isn't affected by preta path) and provide Madara a lose-lose dilemma., because no matter what he picked would screw(to there knowledge).
This proves Gaara can control sand even without chakra being in the sand.
You may ask, "well what if Madara reached the limit of how may things he can absorb"
my reply would be
First, -_-, really it's madara we are talking about. To think he only aborb two things at once is an insult to your credibility.
Second, Onoki says "And when hes wide open, I'll smack him with another jinton. Then we'll have more then enough time to make the seal."
If Madara only being able to absorb only two at once was an possibility then I say what would be the point of Gaara using the sand and Onoki having to wait until Madara deactivates Preta path. You see had that been true Onoki could of just used Jinton on Madara while Madara was using preta path because Madara would be absorbing the water dragon and the raiton and onoki would be free to fire away.
He even could have fired while Gaara's sand was covering Madara, ensuring victory.
Conclusion: Gaara does not need chakra infused in the sand to control it, and the manga even proves it. While the claim that he needs chakra in the sand has no proof to it. You may think well if he isn't using chakra doesn't that mean can use sand infinitely? No, silly bobby. From what we know about his sand is that it is like an extension of his body. Him using sand control is basically him using weopons ninjuts, and taijutsu all in one. The chakra he uses for his attacks are like that of his own body. In the same way taijutsu cost chakra so does his manipulation of sand. If gaara is fatigue he can't move his sand in the same way any shinobi can't move there body when dangerously low on chakra. Although I can't prove without a doubt exactly how his control over sand works, I can say confidently that it doesn't require infused in the sand in order for gaara to use it.
