But, then again, the anime colors seem to get carried over into the games, movies, etc (where Kishimoto has oversight), so I suppose it's a trivial matter either way.

aahh, the anime.... screwing up things since '02. They color Naruto's rasengan blue when its yellow, they color Itachi's susano red when it's yellow and now they've colored Kaguya's hair blue when its white. :eww:

Her real hair color is white. The db saids this and a official coloring of one of the last chapters depicted it as white.

Not the right colour (its yellow in the manga, no orange colour to it), its orange in the Last because Naruto is mixing his chakra with Kurama's. It shows up as blue in other parts of the movie.

If you ask me in Anime blue looks so much better than golden/yellow because I think if they would use the colors from drawings/manga in Anime it would blend with other things like Naruto's clothes or hair and it wouldn't look good.
