The reason y Boruto's rasengan is invisible

Probably because Boruto molds the chakra the same way that he does for gentle fist. Or it could be a specific trait that is special about the Hyuuga's chakra.

It's because his rasengan was small which gives an impression of a compression air when you release it with infused lighting, it was moving too was to see until it struck something similar to the air palm

This is more plausible. Rasengan is created by moulding chakra and high speed rotation. Rotation at lightning speed could make it invisible.
