I'm using the power argument because it's relevant. Boruto using the device to pull a few moves did not take away from any of his original confirmed feats and anyone who thought he was using chidori did not look at the trailer correctly. People who don't like Boruto seem to think he is a fodder now but he's got the most confirmed feats out of all the Gaiden kids and they're not petty ones like using wires

and his feat list is increasing. If you don't like cheaters then good for you.
Whether Boruto or Sarada is a better character is debatable and based on personal preference. Some people like Sarada's story better and some people don't. You can spend days arguing over it like Sasuke and Naruto fans did for nearly a decade on who was a better character but at the end of the day no one got any damn where . Boruto isn't perfect and neither is Sarada but it's a relief knowing that he isn't a Naruto 2.0.
