So I'm hearing that "Sarada's skills are jounin level" was mistranslation and that it was actually Boruto they were speaking of. One

That was from a trust worthy translator(They translated 3 novels fully so) on tumblr... Not sure if I can link on here or not. Some one give me some details cause I'm confused as hell. If Boruto indeed has jounin level skills then I guess we can just add this to his list of feats

It should be very clear looking at the previous context where Sarada’s attack was hindered by Boruto and he managed to hit the Panda in the face that the skill being praised here is Boruto’s. This is the exact reason why /the exact next sentence after that praise says:/
“But. While Naruto may be the son of Naruto, Sarada was the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura. She wasn’t going to lose with something like this.”
It’s referencing how she was put at a disadvantage by Boruto moving to act and deliver an important blow and hindering her so she couldn’t.
So yeah, the praise is definitely about Boruto’s skill. There’s no question about it.
