Some of the events happening in the plot don't correlate to what I've read though ... I'm going to take it with a gran of salt

Well you see, the thing here is that, the ninja world is evolving, in chapter 700 yousee the village and the metropolitan city are separated, showing a separation of modern and traditional lifestyles that is commonly portrayed. Naruto can't stay a series that doesn't evolve, there will be advancements, I kind of saw the techs coming. Ninjas are an old world dominant practice that is slowly being overtaken by the new world of technology. This is a common theme portrayed through years.

And that could be because the blogger forgot to implement certain things because they either uninterested him or fight scenes too bothersome, for example, he missed the cake scene, mitsuki's parent's, and the part where boruto fist bumbs his dad and crys. He seemed to only to write about what interested him.

Just when Boruto is about to lose, he uses the devices to unleash a Suiton and a Raiton. At the same time, Sarada uses Sharingan to dispel the enemy genjutsu trap and get the flag.

Look at the more detail summary in the NF thread, he throws a normal rasengan and momo and it disappears then hits im. Naruto then give his chakra to Boruto so he hit him with the invisible rasengan(the scene in the latest preview).

If he made Boruto looks this bad despite hyping him up and makes him cheat for everything, then there was no point for his character being hailed as Prodigy in the first place. I don't care if he made a Raiton Rasengan on his own, I mean the feat itself is incredible, but what's the point if Kishimoto just makes him not use his own abilities in fights?

There's also the fact that the guy told me Boruto received the bracelet before his fight with Shikidai so I don't understand how he got one before in the exams.

Overall I don't see what kind of message Kishimoto made here, if you cheat you can eventually grow to greatness by cheating some more? What...

I'm not butthurt anything, I think yesterday's spoilers configured me to realize that something bad was going to happen, but I may more disappointed than anything if it turn out true.

I am pleased that Boruto does not take the Hokage route, but if all Sasuke taught him was itachi-style shurikens. Than this Master/Student relationship training looks even more retarded.

Kishimoto has Sasuke train the boy and he teaches him how to throw shurikens despite not using them since the Itachi vs Sasuke fight :lol

I'm not sure, but he does say the Raiton Rasengan is thrown and it turn "invisible?", he said it himself.

So much for the hype, however it seems he's going against 2 demi gods & 2 supplementary Kages so can you blame him?

That's not the point. I believed that Momoshiki should never be in a position of losing until the very end. Him seeming to be losing and needing help downplays his caliber in my sight. If he couldn't take on them alone, he should have some other assistance and other powers to compensate for those Kages while he takes on Naruto and Sasuke with full might and confidence. If he doesn't have enough side methods to counter the fodder Kages, what was he thinking about posing threat to the world?

I just noticed this in my second reading. It seems like all evidences points that Boruto doesn't really have Raiton.
