*** refers to the biological status of a person and the gametes they are producing. If you produce sperm, you are a man.

Gender refers to the more social aspect. Your sexual preferences etc. You could be born a male but view yourself as a woman and are therefore female. You can then go on to alter this biologically. It's all subjective from here. Where do you draw the line? Did Oro swap his sexual organs? Does that make him a full blown woman?

It's like on Jeremy Springer when a persons partner confesses to being born the opposite *** than they are perceived to be. You can either accept them for who they are as their original mind/personality and new body become synchronized or call them a fake monster.

It's different if he takes over a body. Presumably he is still producing the original gametes that that body was producing before.

I don't see the problem. Orochimaru has always been a bit odd.

But what do you mean gender confirmed? His gender was male at the beginning, but he changes back and forth because #lifeyo. He's female now. Are you confirming he's female now? He's been that before. It's not shocking. So, his current gender is female, but he was born male and switches back and forth. I'd say his real gender is probably genderless if one can say that.

Getting pregnant is odd for sure, but not out of Orochimaru's wheel house. Whoever was the father is the more odd one. I bet he probably had some sperm from somebody on hand.
