The point of an exam is to check the capabilities of the ninjas. This tech is something anybody can use, and make a good ninja better. So for one person to use the tech while others do not, destroys the exam itself. Kurama is something exclusive to Naruto, so it's not the same at all as using a tool that literally anyone can use to get a leg up.

The use of tailed beast chakra and senjutsu actually requires a tough body chakra, chakra control and presents a life or death risk.

Sigh. According to some spoilers, he was doing a bunch of important tasks. For his clone to disappear, he'd have to have been so worn out that he lost all stamina/consciousness, implying that whatever he's doing is important enough to work himself unconscious, but go on, keep pretending there's something he could do about it.

Cursed marks, tailed beasts chakra, forbidden jutsus, it all makes part of being a ninja. Info says that the device Boruto used is some kind of technology that allows people who aren't even ninja get jutsus. You gotta respect the rules, man. If it isn't allowed, isn't allowed.

okay so then why didn't he send his clones for those task (which were stated to be interviews and openings and organizing and helping old ladies)
he brings a clone instead for his own daughters b-day
he knows that Hima is overly kind and understanding and wouldn't get mad so he takes that to his advantage

Naruto should of shown up for his own daughter's birthday, point,blank and period. I don't give a damn if he's leg got chopped off mid-way. If he can dash to Sasuke's side in a matter of minutes and leave a KB in the office..... He can attend his kid's f-cking birthday.

If what he's doing is that important (and since he apparently works himself unconscious, it obviously is), then he can't afford to not be there in person (imagine if in the middle of important work, the hokage, suddenly isn't there). Naruto isn't some slack-off parent that doesn't pay attention to his kids because he wants to have fun. He can't spend time because he needs to do important tasks. BTW, Sasuke was dealing with something that could end the world, so the fact that you use "oh, if he can go to Sasuke, he can yada yada" is hilarious!

What's the difference between using devices and summonings/scrolls.
Imagine Naruto summoned Bunta in the chuunin exams. Isn't that cheating as well?? He can solo the whole competition without Naruto lifting a finger.

Naruto isn't a hypocrite for stopping Boruto from using that, not every jin can control their power and actually use it to their advantage, same with the curse mark, didn't the sound 3 say every other person who had it eventually died? The tech Bolt used can be used by anyone ninja or no ninja, it's a way to get fodders to be relevant

Because you need to A. Make a contract for the summons. B. Need enough chakra to summon, meaning hard training is required for high-level reserves, as evident that even kid Naruto has nearly inhuman chakra, but couldn't do it without Kurama at first.
The bracelet is "anybody can do any ninjutsu." No training or attributes requiring. In an exam that measures capabilities such as individual attributes, skills with weapons, martial arts ect. a device that gives you everything even for those that aren't even ninjas has no place.
