Yes it's partially because of my dislike of Sakura, but he literally had no reason to choose her over Karin. They both lusted after him but I mostly shipped SK because of genes.

I wanted SK over SS solely for how karin was treated as opposed to sakura.....although after gaidens portrayal of SS relationship, I'm glad SK didn't happen.

Sasuke cared for Sakura and Naruto like family (loved them in a sense) plus Sakura connected with Sasuke on levels that he didn't with Karin.

The Sasuke Karin initially met was more stern in getting his revenge by any means and suppressed any feelings that could cause him to wraver.

The Sasuke Sakura knew contiplated between his feelings for his teammates and the revenge he wanted.

It doesn't really bother me all that much though since the only pairings that made sense were NaruHina & debatably ShikaTema/SaIno.

It just kinda made me lose interest in his kid, even more so when she seems to emulate Tsunade's fighting style. Nothing wrong with it, it just bores me, and unless she can get ample speed & reaction time she'll just punch the ground inevitably cause a straightforward attempt would be dodged and countered.

There were a lot of legitimate SK shippers some years ago (2008-2010) but during Gaiden was a combination of Sakura haters and people drooling on the possibility of Sarada being Uchiha/Uzumaki
