it's not really proof. It wouldn't be the first time Kishimoto took certain material that wasn't initially canon and made it so for a particular situation. Case in point, Raiga was non canon material, but it doesn't mean the whole filler escapade with him is considered to be canon simply because Kishimoto made the character canon.

I don't know, but the movie could confirm some of them. I know the author for Gaara Hiden is working on the movie, so if crazy theories about Shinki being connected to characters from the book are true, that could possibly make it canon.

I thought Kakashi Hiden had some reference to one of the movies? That makes it less likely to be canon tbh.
