How can you tell it's less effective than regular tai? When have we seen this before? You're making comparisons to the non comparable because it hasn't happened yet. I can't even remember a time where regular tai outdid Neji? You seem to have convinced yourself that he is below average in CQC already and forever will be.

There's too many assumptions going around, you don't even know what his style does. We know it is the Gentle Fist, but do you honestly think he would know the style without knowing what it was used for? Do you think the person that trained him didn't realize he couldn't use the Byakugan? Or how about the fact that Boruto knows what he is doing?

Does he seem confused in battle? He has the Hyuuga stance and the palm open faced for a reason. The Gentle Fist style is more than just closing tenkatsu points, and it should pretty obvious.

You can always steal a byakugan if you really wanted to. Maybe a Hyuuga dies. Highly doubtful. Plenty of other ways to buff Bolt.

Gentle fist > shitty punches and kicks with shadow clones.

He can still **** up organs and stuff even if he doesn't hut a lucky spot.

I'm saying bolts lack of "white eyes" but still having byakugan can be retconed in. Just because he himself admitted to forgetting that doesn't mean he broke narrative. After all bolt and Himawari are the first that we know of mixed blood hyuuga.
