When bijuus succumb to enough injury or low chakra levels rather than die they simply respawn & hibernate. You can't cook them because they'd simply respawn; put in a simpler way,you have to eat them alive.

Also Kin & Gin were a special case, everyone cannot duplicate them.

Question is, can they be killed in the conventional manner? Death for them would probably require complete obliteration of their body scattering their chakra...that is until it can coalesce and then they are revived.

You'd probably have to eat them alive and if someone managed to fully devour the whole being...it'd most likely be like being a Jinchuuriki, ie, the possibility of reverting into the Bijuu.
