Didn't it start off with a rasengan and chidori clash?
Sasuke's chidori still going would mean that he won the clash. If Naruto really went for the headband then that was just a dumb choice.

Sasuke probably just evaded Naruto like he did Ay, but Naruto's claw still got to him

Both jutsu The Rasengan & Chidori made the dark sphere. Both jutsu ended in the clash. That's why the aura around his hand doesn't have lightning in that scan. Naruto has the same thing.

The negatives outweigh the positives for me when it comes to Sasuke. Naruto is an idiot but he makes up for it.

As for the VOTE discussion. Kesonfire is right on the money. Neither of the kids could kill each other at that point in time. Naruto still doesn't want to.
