Obito wanted to toss the tag towards Saitama who was moving in the air but had failed to counter the papertagged kunai Saitama threw at him prior to jumping which stabs him in the face and explodes. As Obito is laying on the ground barely concious Saitama proceeds to throw another one to finish him off before landing on his feet.

Your mistake:

As Saitama notices Obito getting underground he stops his world shaking while preparing. When Obito emerges, he is surprised but quickly creates a pillar of earth beneath his feet to elevate him into the air while pushing him back diagonally to keep his distance. As Obito is coming at him from the same angle Saitama throws a kunai with paperbomb at him, while jumping at the same time so that he is flying backwards in the air and gains more momentum from the explosion of his paperbomb and avoids a close range fight with Obito. Then as he is in the air, being aware of his visual prowess. Saitama then inhales and exhales a thick mist from his mouth which conceals his presence to Obito while covering the whole battlefield.
