Why is kishimoto contradicting Sasukes character?

Throughout the whole manga Sasuke talks about avenging his family and love for his family, his goals always involving itachi and etc, but then when Sasuke gets a family of his own, he doesn't see his daughter for 12 years and never even contacts her, even though I did like the idea of Sasuke traveling and seeing the world, but for that to happen that's crazy and to top it all off, when he first sees her, he tries to kill her, I know he didint know,who she was at first, but come on, that was just bad, like that was really bad, the best thing was the ending and even during the last chapter, kishimoto could've done more, like we could actually see the conversations between Sakura,sasuke and Sarada when he goes back to the house, instead of just showing quick glances, also Sarada being in the middle of the whole SS realtionship, like When Sarada asked sasuke does he love Sakura, and he said something like "it's because we have you", like that's really bad dialogue imo, overall I hated how things were done with Sasukes ending (family wise)

But its still pretty obvious that he cares about his family. He openly expresses his love for his daughter. Can't say the same about Sakura but we know he loves her too

Sasukes anwer to Sarada's question was not only perfect/simple, it struck a nerve in Sararda and ended her doubts about the validity of her family.

basically Kishimoto neglected his child while writing Naruto so he is now trying to use Nardo and Sauce to try and make neglecting your kids look like a good thing

That's what happens when you create a character that's cold with little to no personality. There's certain things that the character can't do.... an because of the coldness of the character he can't do what's to be expected of him even when his goals are understandable to the reader an the situation has changed for the character.
