If you slow down the vid than you can see the skeleton form of Susanoo with the bones and someone is standing in the Susanoo, which by looks, could very well by Sasuke.

That is quite the training they are doing at Boruto's age.

Maybe something else is going on, but I do still think there is a purple Susanoo in the background, where Sasuke could be inside of.

It could be that Sasuke swaps himself with the target and therefore Boruto aims it towards him, maybe the target is close or something else.

I don't think they're training. Boruto is wearing Naruto's jacket which means it must be toward the end of the movie when they are having that final battle. I think Sasuke is just protecting Boruto while he unleashes his attack.

Actually you're wrong.

Oodama Rasengan > Ribcage Susano'o, which is why on impact Madara switched out or it would have been destroyed.
