In the latest episode when it was doffy's flashback and they were hanged and someone was aiming at doffy witha bow .. The first time he shot it hit the wall the 2nd time i shot we see a black screen and hear a stabbing sound .. We know that rocy and doffy's father didnt get hit because that would have been shown .. But if we look at doffy which the man was aiming his bow at we can't really see any scar in his body so the only place left is one of his eyes .. Yep he got hit in the eye and survived it.
If you are not satisfied you can watch the scene again carefully !
Well now the question , fujitora is blind in both eyes and he does not wear glasses why does doffy wear glasses all the time when he is blind only in one eye ? Simple
Doffy is a proud man , he wants to be recognized as a celestial dragon and he hated his father because he threw away the title , doffy simply does not want people to see the scars that shows his shame of not being a true celestial dragon so he has to cover it up all the time.

I know the anime is doing the scenes a little bit differently for the last 2 chapters but the main events remain .. It's just a little bit more detailed in the anime and it's not a filler scene that's why i am using the anime a source of information , sometimes you gotta connect things .
