She didn't position herself anywhere, Kakashi is the one who came up with the plan, not Sakura, so it would mean that he is the one who told Sakura where to position herself as there is no canonical way for Sakura to know where the blind spot for the Byakugan is. There is also no way that Sakura's big self could fit her whole body into a tiny blind spot that was just big enough for Kidomaru's daggers to fit through
