I like windows 8.1 only cos of start-up times, 10's hype seems legit.

I had to buy a laptop. I waited for 6 months for Windows 10. It caused me a lot of pain to use my old shitty laptop. But I ain't buying Windows 8. Its releasing July 29. When would it be available in new laptops (not like update from 7 or 8 to 10) ?

There was a news that it is coz some legacy software might have lines of code that uses single digit 9 to check if the version of windows is 95 or 98.
