yea he was just trying to shoulder everything on his own, so Itachi just calmed him down XD. But as a Hokage, you do carry everyone of your people's hopes and dreams on your shoulders. Plus, his "leave it to me" would've never worked with people like Onoki/Gaara/Ay xD

Which is why Itachi said he would've become the next Madara. Trying to do everything by himself. But anyway, if he was made Hokage before the war, I don't think the other nations beside sand nation would take him serious.

lol. Not everybody are like all the shinobis in the hidden leaf village. Title or Not, Not a single F was given by any of the villains or sasuke or orochimaru or anybody that is not part of any village.

I hear what you're saying. But not everybody in NV would respect a kage right off the bat unless they know about their history or see their power on the battlefield.
