he used the technique a total of 8 times during the war even with his so called cool down period after his 7th time it was a very short period his Rinnegan never lost it's tomoes at any given point.

in Gaiden even when his Rinnegan was not at full power he still managed to pull of the Amenotejikara.

As you can tell from the manga and the Fourth Databook Amenotejikara Using his eye, Sasuke can shift himself, others, and objects, a set distance away from his original location. He can increase the range of this technique by instantaneously changing place with a remote space.

Amenominaka

Using her third eye, Kaguya is able to instantly teleport herself, and anyone within a certain range of her, to different dimensions.

as you can see they are two vastly different jutsu, so Sasuke has both techniques and it was Amenominaka he was recovering from not Amenotejikara.

Its need combine chakra of Byakugou Sakura, Obito and RSM Naruto clones to open just small portal inside Vast dimensions time/space.

If Sasuke used Amenominaka in which changing whole dimension altogether. He will not having enough chakra left to jump to other dimensions. And I dont think he can regained back his chakra in 12 years for him to teleport to the other dimensions. Or he could die from Chakra exhaustion.

To connect vast time space Dimensions in an instant need a lot of chakra.
