Am I the only who was mindf*cked by this turn of events or did I lose something? I thought that Grisha died before Eren's mother, yet in this chapter it happened the other way around. I thought that somewhere in the past before the fall of the walls, Grisha sacrificed himself to give to his son his titan powers. What is going on? Wasn't Grisha long dead before his wife?
I'm trying to remember here, I'm sure that Grisha dies after Carla died, that's when all the avenge you mother and protect Armin and Mikasa stuff comes in his memories/dreams. Remember Eren ate his father after transforming, how and when it happened is what we saw in this chapter.
It was never stated in the manga that garisha died. He left the morning the wall fell shd eren haven't seen him since then.
I'm severely confused as well. I thought in the first few chapters of AoT, we saw Eren's mother get eaten by a Titan, because she was trapped under a collapsed house? And yes, Grisha was supposed to have vanished way before that, no?
