Luffy couldn't even beat Doflamingo 1v1, Doffy was clearly shown to be superior, a lot of things needed to happen for Luffy to come out on top.

...Ok. That's still manhandle you know that? He got overpowered easily.

Dude what? Did you miss the parts where he got utterly trashed in CQC? How many panels you say? It lasted an entire chapter. Only reason he hit him was because he surprised him with that wall attack. Before that he couldn't hit him once.

Luffy got destroyed a lot of times in the manga. Luffy also just had a two year training with Rayleigh, do you really think he would lose to the first real opponent he goes against? Also, doffy was handicapped by law who did a suicide attack on doffy and yet he recovered off of it. So doffy was not at 100% health when luffy defeated him and a lot of people had to buy him time before he could actually finish off doffy.

So it was not even a fair 1v1 match up which he won, he received a lot of help from a lot of people and only then he was able to defeat doffy.

1. Luffy lost a round to Crocodile. He got destroyed and almost died.

2. Luffy got manhandled by Arlong.

3. Enel beat him.

4. Lucci sent him flying.

5. His crew got utterly destroyed by Kuma. It went to the point he didn't even try to look out for them anymore.

6. Admirals trashed him. Both Kizaru and Aokiji. Retreat on both rounds as well as Kuma.

7. Smoker almost bagged him until Ace interfered.

Do I need to list more? Obviously you haven't read the series. Luffy has lost several times in the manga and never managed to beat them again.

U forgot to list Magellan there which is the best example to debunk what the OP is implying, luffy got utterly overwhelmed in the first fight against Magellan and the only thing he could do during the second fight was run for his life together with hundred of other prisoners from magellan and he never got to beat him, he never even tried to set his eyes on him, knowing that only death awaits him if he ever faced Magellan again.
