Tobirama putting his hand on a Susanoo isn't an attack. So how can it repel him? Doesn't make sense.

First off, he can't touch Susanoo. He has to get past Yata first. Second, Yata isn't intelligent and can't differentiate what is an attack and what isn't. If Tobirama tried to punch Yata, that's technichally an attack so he would be repelled but if he just slaps his hand on it it's not an attack, but Yata won't know that. Pretty certain it would label any physical touch as an attack and repel it regardless. like when Sasuke tried to attack it with his sword, he was repelled.

Yata is connected to Susanoo just how any Susanoo weapon would be connected to it's Susanoo, so that example is irrelevant. Yata not being intelligent doesn't matter. It's function is that it repels attacks. So obviously anything that isn't an attack is repelled. It doesn't need to differentiate between what is an attack and what isn't an attack when it only has one function. Repel attacks.

Sasuke's lunging down with his sword was an attack, so he was repelled. Tobirama merely touching Susanoo isn't any kind of offensive move, so it can't be repelled.

Fine, if you wan to play that way. If you lightly tap an ant, it would be squashed so from the ant's perspective it's an attack. If Tobirama lightly taps Susanoo to place his seal on it, Yata will recognize it as an attack (DB says it repels any attack) and repel it, regardless if Tobirama's intent is an attack or not.

No. Touching an ant isn't going to kill it. Go touch a wall and tell me if that touch is going to kill it or anything?

Only if you delicately touch one lightly. Any action is going to have a degree of force behind it and any action with force can be interpreted as an attack.

Edit: and my point wasn't that it would kill the ant. My point was that the ant wouldnsee it as an attack.

Edit2: how the hell do you kill a wall?

Beans is right here. It won't differentiate between an attack and a tap. If you look at it from a greater perspective, the difference between a tap and a punch is the force being applied. Unless someone has proof of their being a minimum force exertion needed to force a repulsion reaction with Yata, it repels it.

What if Tobirama puts his hand milimeter next to Yata and it is Yata that touches Tobirama?

Yata Mirror would repel Tobirama if he tries to touch Susanoo to mark it.

Dafuq, you think Yata is shinra tensei or Kaiten? All it is, is an impenetrable attack. It doesn't just push things back the moment it is touch like Madara's Fan. What I mean to say is it depends on the attack not so toching won't make tobi fly.

Unlike Minato, Tobirama doesn't use a marked kunai tactic for FTG, so this is in Itachi's advantage. He could do same as he did to Sasuke, by covering the location by 360 of Amatersu. [ ] [ ] Itachi, alive at the time, covered half of it despite having Tsukuyomi and 1st Amatersu consuming his Chakra and health. Granted by the Edo Tensei unlimited Chakra and stamina, it isn't a case and the Uchiha can spam Amatersu at a much larger rate. A 360 Amatersu would prevent Tobirama from escaping outside the area, leaving him in short to mid range battle between him and Itachi, which the latter would prevail with Sharingan and Susanoo CQC pulverising the Senju.

Itachi wins mid difficulty.

The fodders who were guarding Mei did the same thing. When I said: ''marked kunai tactic for FTG'', I meant this:

When you show me Tobirama displaying that, then he's like Minato.
