What, did you expect them to just sit on the ground and cry about neji's death? Her entire speech was about not giving up on yourself, despite watching people die all around you. And Naruto's hand was comforting her. It's not like she was daydreaming about screwing him or anything, she was just glad to be beside him.

And the coolest guy thing: Naruto was referring to the fact that obito was once just like him in aspiring to become the hokage among other things, and that in the end he was able to become that person once again and change. In that sense he was the "coolest guy", who he originally was in the beginning.

You guys can take the nicest moments of the manga and make them seem bad.
