It was arrogant and cocky of Sasuke but that's who he was during this arc, someone consumed by hatred, all he wanted to do was avenge his Itachi's hardships which Sasuke at the time ultimately thought it was Danzo's fault.
Yeah if it wasn't for Tobi, Sasuke would've died then when he was trapped in Onoki's jutsu

I still agree with him. The only thing Gaara pointed out was that the Raikage would've died if he went further, but the Raikage had already said he was ready to put his life on the line. There is no indication that the flames would've slowed him down because of "pain", his arm was already on fire, then he severed that bich lol I don't think pain would've been an issue. I think they both would've died.

That's why I said near death in my post.He would be charred heavily and most parts of his body would need to be severed like his arm as this time his entire body is entering the barrier

as I said earlier he would first enter the barrier and once the flames consume him,it's debatable if his kick can get past the susanoo and even then have enough strength left to kill Sasuke

You missed multiple things. Sasuke commanded his teamates/subordinates, and they successfully entered the Iron Country, and the Kage Summit despite it being heavily guarded by the Samurai, and having multiple Sensor Shinobi there.

The only reason the Kages knew he was there was because White Zetsu told them, otherwise they wouldn't have known. Sasuke was planning on attacking Danzo after the summit once he left.
