The aim of this thread is to clear up a misconception regarding no-sharingan Kakashi. Many people have been assuming that Kakashi is now a fodder shinobi that is below or on the same level as Zabuza (due to the loss of his sharingan). In this thread I hope to demonstrate that Kakashi is still a kage-level shinobi and that he is well qualified to lead and defend the village without his sharingan. I’m only going to be discussing his ninjutsu, taijutsu, stamina and intelligence prowess. I know this a really long thread (sorry) but I’ve tried to organize it.
Firstly, let’s see what abilities Kakashi gained from his sharingan:
• Sharingan/MS precognition to have enhanced reflexes
• The ability to use Raikiri effectively against high level enemies
• Sharingan/MS genjutsu
• The ability to copy and preempt ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu
• The ability to warp himself to teleport from the real world in Kamui dimension and the opposite.
• The ability to one-shot nearly every enemy he could ever face with Kamui, something that made him actually able to contend with nearly every character in the manga, no matter how strong and powerful.
By losing the sharingan, Kakashi has lost these abilities (aww). But, we are forgetting what he still possesses that still makes him a beast.
Hatake Kakashi was a genius since his childhood: graduated on academy at 5 years old, became a chunin at 6 years old, and became a jonin between 10-12 years old. He is the son of the White Fang Sakumo Hatake and was trained by the 4th hokage, who renowned his strength and hyped his skill and speed. Child Kakashi learned Rasengan and from that created Chidori (after failing to infuse Rasengan with lightning). He could make jonin rank when people like young Neji, young Sasuke etc (great talents) didn't even make the academy.
Kakashi is known throughout the narutoverse by his name. He is the protagonist teacher to Indra and Ashura's reincarnations. Throughout his life, Kakashi has gone toe-to-toe with the strongest ninja, and has utilized his sharingan so effectively with the giant handicap of not being an Uchiha in first place. Kakashi is the rival of Maito Gai, the man that, using his extreme power, kicked Madara’s ass and is hyped to be above the combined Gokage (tens of times according to VIZ scan). Kakashi is also the nemesis of Obito and he outsmarted/out-reacted him a lot of times, and in their final fight he won, and Obito admitted inferiority to him (I’m aware that Obito wanted to remove the seal, but that’s a different discussion).
He has fought/faced off against formidable opponents such as Zabuza, Orochimaru, Guy (rivalry), Kabuto (part 1), Itachi, Kisame, Kakuzu, Hidan, Deidara, Pain, Obito, Sasuke, the Juubi, Tobi, Madara, Kaguya, etc. He has even met the Sage of Six Paths and utilized his chakra at one point. My point here is that Kakashi has gained an unbelievable amount of battle experience over the years that would greatly assist him as the Hokage.
A man who epitomizes versatility, Kakashi's expertise is not limited to the three major ninja skill sets; he is renowned for his tracking abilities and has otherwise displayed proficiency with trap-making, medical, survival, escapism, stealth, subterfuge, and assassination. Even without the sharingan, Kakashi is still a highly formidable fighter, able to use knowledge of his surroundings, other senses, allies, and enemies to perceive the situation and overwhelm his opponents.
I’ve tried my best to regroup Kakashi's best sharingan-less feats and the best statements in regard of his general value as a ninja. I hope my work helps people to understand how strong and how skilled he is without his sharingan. I’ve probably missed many feats (please tell me if I have), but this is a fair introduction of the abilities of the 6th Hokage, Hatake Kakashi.

KAKASHIS NINJUTSU PROWESS [NO SHARINGAN]
Kakashi's ninjutsu arsenal is clearly one of the best in the series. As a former Mangekyo Sharingan wielder, he is renowned as being able to use more than 1000 jutsu, the master of three elemental affinities, and an absolute expert, in the Raiton/Lightning Style ninjutsu. Part 1 Kakashi was said to be Konoha's best technician (
Kakashi can use also the Rasengan, without any need of help to create it in his hand. Kakashi can use powerful Suiton ninjutsu, even without any preexistent water source, as Daibafuku, Suiryodan and Suijinheki. He is also skilled in Doton ninjutsu with Doryuheki and the Moguragakure no jutsu, that can be a low level jutsu, but is made as an exceptional support technique thanks to Kakashi's pure skill as a ninja fighter. Kakashi's hand seals are some of the most skilled and fastest in the series. In part 1 he could manage to hold off his own with his personal ninjutsu against Itachi's exceptionally fast ninjutsu speed, and he can perform ninjutsu in mid CQC combat (

Let’s just quickly discuss his stamina growth. In early part 1, when out of shape, he could use the Sharingan for only a short time, and then when he started to regain his shape he could go up on use 4 Raikiri + Sharingan. At the beginning of Shippuden he could use the Sharingan for an entire night while testing Naruto and Sakura. After that, he used Kamui 3 times against Deidara (one against a giant explosion). Against Kakuzu/Hidan and against Pain he showed an even increased stamina. In the War Arc Kakashi could use 5 Kamui one after another and with perfect prowess, while at the same time he was using the Sharingan and some strong ninjutsu, as Raikiri and Raiden, before exhausting his reserves. After coming back from the Kamui dimension in chapter 655, he used the Kamui for 7 times with exceptional prowess as well and in fast succession and other jutsu. My point here is that Kakashi’s stamina has dramatically increased and without the sharingan straining his body he is able to last in combat for much longer and use more jutsu.
Although the sharingan served him well, it also had a weakness as it drained his chakra at a very fast rate. Now that he doesn't have it, he should last longer in a fight and is still able to use the jutsu he has acquired over the years. We saw how long Kakashi lasted while spamming Kamui in the war-arc, so we know that he could last much longer in a battle without the sharingan. He may have lost the sharingan, he has not lost the tons of battle experience that he has gained by going up against the strongest ninja in the verse (and literally going against the strongest).

Shippuden Kakashi could dodge a forest-destroying attack (Kakuzu's Fuuton: Atsugai) at point blank and with his attention divided by the taijutsu fight against Hidan (where, even with an injured arm, he was taking care of him with ease using just a mere kunai against his scythe), keeping up with Kakuzu's masks and taking an eye on team 10... and right after that quickly intercept Kakuzu's fast Raiton ninjutsu with a DOUBLE Raikiri, saving team 10's asses. With a little distraction, Kakashi could blitz Kakuzu who didn't even perceive his fast attack, even if we know that Kakuzu has so fine reflexes and perception skills that he can perceive Shikamaru's Kagemane (who obviously doesn't make any noise) approaching his back. It's worth note that Kakashi attacked so fast that even Hidan and the team 10 members, who were facing Kakuzu and so had free sight of what was happening behind him, were completely surprised.

Kakashi also fought a lot of times with wounds and injuries without his performance being hindered. Kakashi can also wield the Kubikirihocho with just one hand with great skill for hours, and his physical strength is so high to make Obito internally bleed with just a couple of punches. Also as said before he can stop a Kubikirihocho swing with a mere and small kunai.

His weapon-skills are also very adaptable, even able to effectively use Kubikiribōchō, a blade of unique shape with noticeable size and weight, to defeat kenjutsu specialists like the Seven Mist Swordsmen after just gaining possession of it. Kakashi's intellect has proven itself against various S-rank ninja, including members of Akatsuki, showing undeniable perceptive and analytical skills, able to quickly and single-handedly deduce the workings of the most mysterious enemy techniques and plot successful diversions in order to verify his theories (most of the time proving them correct). He is aided in this regard by his calm personality, which allows him to handle a given situation with some detachment. He is also knowledgeable of other Mangekyō Sharingan techniques (
