Get real, a rampaging 1 tails can shut a whole village down, kurama had to be sealed into naruto just to stop him, they lose badly.

You can't seal a jinchuriki and the 1 kage needed help from kushina and they both used techniques that none of the 5 kages have access to. Kages get stomped

Sealing is one of the ways. In manga, nothing is absolutely especially when you have 5 kages. They could simply work together to drag kurama out

But story wise, 5 kages won't be happy just by "defeating naruto", they have to prevent kurama from going rampage after naruto died. You are assuming

We've seen kurama in action enough to know that he can stand up to juubi strength attacks, none of the kage can so we naruto has better defenses, none of them can easily deal with 1 bijudama and naruto can rapid fire them. 5 kages get annihilated the second naruto gets serious. The only thing he really had to worry about is oohnoki and he can easily be removed from play. Rapid fire bijudama has no counter

They are kages, they obviously have counter to bijuu's attack as they all owned one of those pets. Kishi doesn't give them the kage title while they know only one two jutsu you see on screen

Ei and onokis combo pulls a lot of weight. onoki can lighten Ei in order to make him faster than naruto and in the event that bijudama is fired, make Ei heavier right as he makes contact with the bijudama in order to punch it away or return it to sender.

tsunade is ridiculously durable. any bar a direct hit from bijudama is most likely going to be healed off by her and with support and distractions from the other kage will be able to stun kurama with her striking power.

mei can provide mist support i guess and gaara can at least attempt to grind up sand to bury kurama in order to hold it off.

also, if the 5 kage decide to use their full power, super jinton casually one shots.

the 5 kage win with relatively low-lower end of mid diff.

portrayal wise, naruto loses as well.

Bijuu can use their full power when working with their host, kurama was so deadly that hashirama felt that he had to be sealed just so no one had to deal with him. With naruto this means that it can't be sealed, naruto would destroy them.

Hashi sealed kurama because kurama is dangerous to fodders. Jin is more powerful is because they can pin point the attack and use two brain than one, it is not really saying more powerful powerwise. They are more powerful overall but power level essentially the same. I bet 5 kages would aim to drag the bijuu out or simply seal naruto and kurama in another dimension
