would onnoki of retired and gave the title to deidara instead of that girl who seems like fodder and has no redeeming feats to consider her strong . also considering deidara is mid kage level and if he was present during the kage summit seen as he took at kazekage with little difficulty, he would of been the strongest there and he may not of reached his peak yet as he was still young.

also what would of it of meant for village military power , as the stone would of been very formiable if deidara was there , as deidara , oonnoki , the guy who was commander , the bodyguard were all powerful so there would make them stronger than the cloud , sand and mist only the leaf would of been able to compete with kakashi , gai,yammato , danzo and naruto

also if he wasnt kage , he would of mostly of been commander of the 4th war maybe the leader of leader instead of gaara and darui , samauri guy or gaara would of been kick off beinf a commander for deidara .

Deidara was driven to commit suicide. Sasuke wanted itachi's whereabouts, and deidara wanted to kill him to take revenge on itachi for making his art look like shit, but sasuke made it look shittier.

kage title means little gai title was jounnin yet look what he did in the war compared to all the five kages together same with killer bee

also deidara was emotionally invested too much and didnt fight rationally at times

I re read those chapters and it certainly didn't feel like that. Deidara was actually nerfed badly imo

One of commanders besides kakashi would of been utimaletly kicked off for deidara and tbh deidara would of kicked gaara off being commander of the war considering deidara is stronger and has shown his intelligence is kage level . The only reason kakashi didnt be the commander commander is because he killed alot of other village ninjas in the previous war and mission . So its harder for him to make speeches about uniting nations
