Disagree with Gaara. He is one of the most underrated characters. His absolute defense is able to damage Sasuke Sussanoo and his speed has quite improved so I don't think Sasuke can go close hand combat with him.

gaara is the most overrated character he lost to deidara who held back because you got to capture alive . hebi sasuke beat deidara who went all out . Sasuke lighting , speed and MS techniques is too much for Gaara . sasuke uses his sword with lighting for mid range attacks sasuke is mid range fighter he would have no problem beating gaara

MS obito is high kage level the fact kakashi took him on 1 vs 1 shows kakashi contribution to the war was immense

Kakashi is a high Kage level but Gaara was able to perform nearly to the same extent as Kakashi which is why he was very vital. Wasn't he able to damage Madara with that Sand Bullet shot.

Even if he had intel there is no way MS Sasuke is getting through the Raikage. Amaterasu didn't damage him one bit and Ay would need to use the Liger Bomb and it is GG Sasuke. Sasuke would go blind by the time he was done with A. Same with Gaara on a 1v1. If Gaara was able to do shit against an Edo Madara he is going to wreck Sasuke. It doesn't matter if he had intel because he would lose both ways.

Raikage was about to lose a leg against Sasuke, after that there's no more escaping Chidori or Amaterasu. With Mei all he needs is genjutsu and it's over, with Onoki we know Lightning > Earth, so besides Dust Release nothing else threatens him and genjutus would've worked on him too.

Furthermore, Sasuke uses lee's taijutsu with his Raikage-level speed to overcome Gaara's defence while his chidori and Amaterasu would overpower it not to mention Kirin.

deidara is better than him in long range battles and can defeat him low/mid diff. naruto , sasuke, shushi , itachi , kakashi ,jiraya are all more mid type fighters but have long range arsenal that can compete against gaara

Word. Pre DMS Kakashi and Gai pre 8th gates don't get the props they deserve for the work they put in in the war. Whenever shit got worse they just kept turning up to match the opposition but the Kages...not so much.

Naruto was Boss in the war - the Five Kages wanted him out of the war, Naruto on his own chose to join the war, went to all the battlefields, saved everyone multiple times, and basically became the Leader of the Allied Shinobi Forces, and eventually succeeded in defeating all their enemies, besides Madara cause Black Zetsu did his thing.

Alright maybe your right. If BM Naruto can defeat the 5 Kage high diff, MS Sasuke should be able to do the same but only on a 1v1.
