[VS] Usopp vs Luffy

but seriously , I can't see current usopp take on W7 luffy. Luffy was a tank even back then, and i don't see usopp have an attack powerful enough to take out luffy. in the other hand usopp can't handle luffy's attacks.

So why can Usopp now take out a pacifista while all the SH's couldn't Pre skip ?

Explain that to me, with Usopps 'weak' attacks.

OT: Luffy still wins. He wasn't fighting serious at all. Usopp has no feat post skip that I think is comparable to beating croc even.

There's actually a difference between not going all out and enjoy fighting seriously. Luffy always fights seriously, but only exerts himself as much as is needed. If an opponent only needs G2, then that's all he'll use but he's serious about it. He's not just goofing off.

And luffy doesn't fight seriously all the time either, he goofsd off quite a bit, never against a main oponent but he does goof around when fighting all the time. Think back to when we first saw luffy fight alvida and her crew, he was just messing about.

Yes to Lucci and if he had Haki, I can see him beating Alabasta Crocodile.

Yet the movie was overseen by Oda and if it was unrealistic it probably wouldn't have made it in.

Ok know you haven't forgotten the sequence of scans between Fishman Island and Punk Hazard that prove Film Z isn't Canon. There is no period in the manga it could have happened in. Overseen by Oda doesn't make it canon.

It has nothing to do with the story and everything with the portrayal of the characters. I don't care if it happened 500 years ago on the moon. It showed that post skip Strawhats obliterating Pacifista like cardboard training targets. And Oda said 'ok that fine by me'

And if Oda has even as much as winked at it its already a more reliable source than your baloney of the day.
