Sarada though as an academy student already displayed those same impressive feats her mother displayed when she was Chuunin.

Sarada will develop into one hell of a shinobi (not just a woman shinobi), an elite one as expected from an uchiha, but wont be a prodigy. wont get to the same level as boruto.

its true that we havent seen his feat yet, but people call boruto a genius because its been confirmed. Sarada however, has never been confirmed to be a genius despite having been shown of her feats. because she is not. again, that doesnt mean she's a fodder.

Boruto has already shown that he can use KB in gaiden, and chidori, rasengan in in the upcoming movie. What has sarada shown? Punching the ground? Does this even equate to what boruto has shown to be capable of?
