Was Bolt originally supposed to have the Byakugan?

When the first picture of Bolt and Himawari came out, Bolt originally had Lavender color eyes. But from 700 and onward his eye color was changed to blue. If they had stuck with his Lavender eye color, would that meant he could have awakened the Byakugan?

Well it's obvious we're not going to see 3rd child, he said he might but it's too complicated and Boruto movie is the final canonical of Naruto. Kishimoto will no longer continuing Naruto since he's working new manga.

It'd be pretty interesting if they both did have it, i mean, when has a hyuga ever gave birth to a child whose other parent wasn't a hyuga? It's something thats never happened before so who knows if their eyes would still have it and still be a mixture of their other non-hyuga parent.

Actually seeing as Kishi already said he forgot to add the Byakugan to them, that could mean that Kishi wanted it to be known that clans don't interbreed

He should've just retconned Boruto having blue eyes just like how he retconned, Sasuke having 9T Rinnegan..
