I wanted them to get more panel time in the manga but sadly this story is only focused on the Uumaki, Senjuus, and the Uchihas. Also Lee and Guy should have gotten more fights in the War Arc since they were destructive. For me Itachi had the hardest life. He was walking the path of a sociopath when no one understood his true intentions.

That doesn't mean he had the hardest life. Gaara, Naruto, Nagato, Yahiko, Konan, ect... Had harder lives.

I agree. While Itachi's life was terrible, it was a path he chose to walk.

Sasuke thought he was betrayed by his brother, Gaara was betrayed by his father and uncle, Kakashi was betrayed by his father's suicide. In all 3 cases, they were screwed over by someone they admired.

They lost all close ties and had no family support systems.
